Medical Product Outsourcing Symposium, November 8-9, 2007, Waltham, MA MINNEAPOLIS (October 10, 2007) – ATEK Medical announced today their participation in Medical Product Outsourcing magazine’s new educational and networking event, which will provide a forum that addresses issues affecting the OEM-supplier relationship. Roger Brink, vice president and chief quality and regulatory officer, ATEK Medical, will be co-presenting during the event with John Castellano, quality assurance manager, Medtronic. They will present their case study on how to effectively manage the quality process with an outsourcing partner.

Brink and Castellano’s presentation will focus on how to best define the quality process between OEM and contract manufactures, including how to enhance and manage the process through various stages. ATEK Medical manufactures cardiac surgery devices for Medtronic and attributes their successful relationship to a solid foundation of communication and collaboration.

The goal for the new Medical Product Outsourcing symposium is to introduce start-up and emerging device manufacturers to the many business building resources available.
