Jim Bartel, President of ATEK Manufacturing & ATEK Products, has over 17 years of experience in the manufacturing, selling, and marketing of proprietary products to various industries. Bartel is responsible for overseeing the activities of the Brainerd, MN business operations, including Larco, Reels, TankScan, and other contract manufacturing. He is an active member of Sales & Marketing Executives (SME) of Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN and the MN based Breakthrough Forum.
Kay Phillips, President of ATEK Companies, joined the company in 2001 and was instrumental in the launch of ATEK Medical in 2003. Her responsibilities include strategic development, growth, and overall management of operations. Phillips has more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing and is a recognized expert in lean manufacturing. Phillips is a member of the Women’s President’s Organization and founded the Twin Cities chapter.
Christy Bieber Orris, CEO of ATEK Companies, is responsible for the overall management and growth of the company. Under her leadership, the ATEK Companies have tripled in size, diversified its customer base, and broadened industry focus. Orris is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and the Women’s President’s Organization, and is a Henry Crowne fellow.
